An active sponsor of, THE BOGGY CREEK GANG, a camp for children with special needs. The camping experience helps children to better cope with the day-to-day challenges they face. It also offers critical support to the parents, guardians and siblings of these amazing kids. Located on 232 acres of wooded land, it has 44 cracker style buildings and 16 camper cabins. Activities deal with the creative and physical aspects of camp life.
Boggy Creek programs include week long summer sessions as well as family weekends in the fall and spring. The camp is specifically designed for children with chronic or life threatening illnesses. They are transformed into "just kids' at the camp and have a chance to be with others who have the same conditions helping them to realize they are not alone. www.boggycreek.org
